New Parent Support Program (NPSP)
A free, voluntary program for expecting and new military parents, staffed by nurses and family-support professionals. It offers home visits, parenting education, and one-on-one guidance from pregnancy through your child's early years — especially helpful when family is far away or a deployment is on the calendar. Fleet & Family Support Center (FFSC)
Your FFSC is the hub for free parenting and life-skills classes, deployment and relocation support, counseling, and referrals. The main FFSC Norfolk office is at 7928 14th Street, Norfolk — phone 757-444-2102. Additional offices serve bases across the region.
